The President’s Report – March 18th, 2008
First order of business getting in your membership dues, we need to send the money in so please get squared up with Treasurer Mark.
Last week it was decided unanimously by he membership to hold our General Meetings at Jimmy Dale’s Blue Boar Inn, with one vote against by PP Bruce McTavish. I found the atmosphere very comfortable, the food was great and the prices were right. I think that we will enjoy our meetings at Jimmy D’s.
Rtn Ron Nethercutt did a great job last week as Day Chairman and provided us with a very special Presentation of our new and continuing Paul Harris Fellows.
I have asked VP Joel to call a meeting of the Rotarians he has selected for his Board. We all need to get behind him and help Joel in getting ready for the transition. Joel is going to make a Great President and help elevate our Club to greater heights. We’ll be there for you, VP Joel, you can count on us.
Discon in Baguio on April 18-20 is an event that we should plan to attend
Distas 08 is coming up and will be hosted by RC Mabalacat…Maybe Rth Ron can give us an update.
Apologies from PP Bruce for his absence,he will be in China this week and in Australia.
We need to get in our Presidential Citation Award report ASAP…
