The President’s Report – June 3rd, 2008
Our 1st Foundation Board Meeting will be held here today at 2pm after our regular General Meeting. Foundation Board Members and Advisors are required to attend and others are welcome to attend.
Today we have the privilege and honor to welcome Dr. Art Basa from Strongsville, Ohio and the Rotarian responsible for helping us obtain MG 67184 which is to help fund our Computer Lab at Bahay Bata. Dr. Basa comes to the Philippines at last twice a year to perform medical missions for the indigent people. Art would like to talk to us about future medical missions in which we can participate as partners.
The end is near for the Rotary Shares Year of 2007-2008. Our Year-End Review is slated for this Saturday and is being sponsored by RC Pampanga this year. We need to start thinking about registering for this event. It will be held at the Oxford Hotel – Clark on June 7th, 2008. This weekend and I expect to see as many RCCC members as possible there.
I will attend our President-Elect’s Board of Director’s Meeting on Wednesday, June 4th at 6pm at Jimmy Dale’s Blue Boar Inn. I, as well as, our Club will support Joel and his BoD’s as much as we possibly can and in every way we can.
